Create a Course

To create an online course press the "schooX it!" button placed on the grey bar of your Library. From there follow the Create Course link. The first step is to give the basic info of your course (title, description, tags, license etc).

When republishing a work created and published under a creative commons license on another webpage please:
  • Republish under the terms and conditions of the author or licensor.
  • Attribute the work in the manner specified by the author or licensor.
  • Make clear to others the license term of the work. The best way to do this is with a link to the license of the original work.

Add Lectures and Exams

After giving the basic info of your course you will be driven to the main menu of the course panel.

From the Course Panel you can:
  • Add and Edit Lectures
  • Add and Edit Exams
  • See Statistics of your Course
  • Change the Course Image
  • Change your Basic Course Info.
Your course can consist of as many lectures as you want. You can upload word or powerpoint files, add scorm ready lectures, upload or embed video lectures or build via an editor a lecture from scratch.

Lectures are by default Not Visible. Make them visible when they are well prepared and ready to become public. You can turn your Course into "Published" mode by clicking on the big "Unpublished" button at the top of the Course Panel. To publish your course and share it with the community it must consist of at least one visible lecture.

Course Analytics Dashboard

From the Course Analytics Dashboard you can see details and statistics regarding your course like enrolled members, pageviews per members, course completeness of members etc.
