New Features

  • Multiple Courses and Curricula Assignments: Users with Admin rights, Training Managers or Unit Manager and Heads of Above Units with the Assign Training permission enabled, can assign multiple courses or curricula to multiple users.

Enhancements

  • Email Notifications Editor: More email notifications for courses, groups and events can now be edited from the email notification editor.
  • Exams where the Retake option is enabled, will no more allow users to review the questions/answers block unless passed.

New Features

  • Groups Categories: You can control who has access to the Groups in a Category by adding specific permissions in your Groups Categories or Sub Categories.
  • Decentralized Categories Permissions: Admins can give permissions to Heads of Above Units to create 1. Training Categories (Courses, Curricula, Events), 2. Library Categories, 3. Group Categories. Now every Above Unit can have its own Content Categories and Sub Categories. Once given permission, a new category will be create with the title of the Above Unit and only the Head of the Above Unit will be able to see it and edit it giving permissions to the rest in the Above Unit or the Units connected to the Above Unit.

Important Tips to Remember:

  • Head of Above Units should add content in their Above Unit's Training Categories if they want to have it public for their employees. If they add Training content (Course, Curricula, Event) or Group without selecting a category then it will be marked as private and will not be allowed to convert to public until it is inserted in an Above Unit's Category.
  • A Category now presents the contents of all its Sub Categories (Works for Course, Curricula, Event and Group Categories. Not applicable to Library Categories).
  • If you delete a Category, all content included will be listed in the "Without Category" or "All Content" section under Categories.
  • If you delete a Sub Category, all content included will be listed in the Parent Category.


Enhancements

  • Standalone Events cannot be connected to the Organizational Structure anymore as they follow the Events Categories' Permissions. Only Course or Curricula Events are allowed to be connected to the Organizational Structure. Existing Standalone Events that were connected to the Organizational Structure are no longer connected.
  • Events in Courses or Curricula will receive the category of the Course or the Curricula.
  • Regular Employees are not allowed anymore to create events. This option is now removed from the Academy's Advanced Settings.

New Features
  • Email Notification Editor. The admins of an academy are now able to edit the messages included in the automated email notifications that users receive after an action was executed.
    • The feature is available for some notifications at the moment. More notifications will be editable in the following days.

Enhancements
  • Back to Curriculum button is now displayed when the user attends courses, event, exams and polls in a curriculum.
  • Admins can now edit a user's email address and its password by clicking on the Members list on the "Edit User" button next to the user selected.
  • Create past events option has been removed. Past events can now be created when a past date is entered in a new event.
  • Passing Scores can now be added in Events. When the instructor assess the performance of each event attendant if the score is below the passing score then the attendant will not receive the event's certificate and the Dashboard will also show the score received and the passing score.
  • Events can now be selected as mandatory to attend in order for a curriculum to be completed.
  • New Setting for Academy's Library. In the advanced settings, admins can allow access to the Corporate Library for each member only after they have agreed to the Terms of Use. Admins can add a custom message and an (optional) URL to the Term of Use Page.
  • New Setting for Leaderboard. In the advanced settings, admins can enable or disable to option to show the level of focus on the Leaderboard.

New Features

  • Event Surveys. Instructors and Admins can now create surveys in an event. There is an option "Manage Polls" in the events catalog for each event. The survey will appear on the homepage of the user after attending the event.
  • Event Cities are displayed in the calendar filters and in the events' catalog.


Enhancements

  • Leaderboard settings allow admins to select whether the Leaderboard will be Academy wide or only Unit based.

New Features

  • Event Certificates can be awarded after attending an event.
  • Event Credits can be received after attending an event. The credits can be set in the main event card. 
  • Skills Report can be exported while looking at the Users Performance in the Skills Management Module. The report shows the users for the unit or the above unit selected with the Skills for each user as well as the scores (Automatic, Manual and Combined) for each skill.


Enhancements

  • New tab on Manage Curriculum where instructors can change the title and the description of courses in multilanguage curricula.
  • Permission to Update OJT Home Assignment.

New Features

  • Login Page Management: Schoox allows admins to modify the Academy's Login Page changing the Background, the Logo, the Colors and the Social Buttons.


Enhancements

  • Event Timezones can be set by the creator of the event so that the date and the time will be presented to each user's calendar according to the user's timezone.
  • Event Available Seats are presented to the users before registration.
  • Event Assignments can now be applied also for auto approved events.
  • Event Notifications can be sent to users with pending registrations.
  • Event Repetition Frequency and Attendance Rules are now displayed for each event when presented in the events' catalog.
  • Live Sessions can be attended the same day they are created. However, the session needs to start at least 1 hour after the session's creation.

  • Business Impact Permissions: Unit Managers and Assistant Unit Managers can also have permissions to access the Business Impact Functionality. The permissions can be modified from the Units permissions for Unit Managers and Assistant Unit Managers.
  • Content Views Counter: Each content in the library now has the number of views indicated.


Bug Fixes

  • Fix for exams. Answers with spaces are not counted as wrong.

Enhancements

  • Credits Report. The Credits report is now added in the predefined Basic Reports as well as in the Scheduled Reports. When the manager chooses a credit rule, the report returns the Fist and Last Name of the employee, the course and the credits received.
  • Scheduled Notification Reminder for Upcoming Events. In the academy's scheduled notifications the admin can now set how many days before the event the registrants will receive a notification.

  • Upload document to complete on the job training tasksYou can now request from trainees to accomplish some sort of homework, and then verify that they have completed this by uploading an assignment document or file in an on the job training task. As an admin or training manager, you can afterwards download the assignment and assess it.
  • Define specific types of course credits. You can now specify types of credits, associate them with a course, and a job,  in a way that someone would know that an amount of specific course credits should be acquired within a period of 6 months, or a year. Credit types work as specialization titles, reflecting the level of employees knowledge and the focus of their training.
  • Measure the impact of sporadic and ongoing trainingTraining can be periodic, or on an ongoing basis. You now have a new dashboard where you can investigate different performance metrics to see if there’s any dependence between training and business outcome.
  • Monitor the relationship between business units and business growthTo better interpret your business outcome, you can now measure the dependency between different KPIs, i.e business units or departments, and the impact this relationship has on your business outcome. This way you can define which areas of your business require further training.
  • Explore the impact of your organization's knowledge fuelThis powerful business intelligence tool enables you to explore the impact of your training even further, by monitoring whether the knowledge offered through training to your employees is impactful to your business, on a personal or collective level. Use this tool to monitor the impact of training on your business growth, or on your employees’ skills strength.

Enhancements

  • Admins can now delete failed exam attemptsWhen an employee has reached the maximum number of allowed attempts in an exam without succeeding, the admin can move on deleting the attempts, or marking the exam as complete.
  • Assessment requests trackingWe had recently launched a new feature that allows you to request from managers to assess employees’ skills. An extended functionality that has been added, allows you to track these requests on a separate dashboard. Use this dashboard to monitor whether the assessments are complete and who is responsible for their completion.
  • New report in Basic Reporting for events. In the Basic Reports, you can now download a report for the event selected with info for each attendant.
  • Evaluate employee's attendance in events. The trainer can now give a score to each attendant.

New Features

  • Brands. Brands is a new way to differentiate your above units. By labeling a type of above unit as a Brand, you have the option to give a custom logo, cover or name to that above unit. 

  • Purchanse and management of courses collections. You can now subscribe to a full collection of hundreds of courses offered by our content provides (i.e. BizLibrary, MasteryTCN) as part of one subscription plan. A user who is subscribed in these academies can buy courses - licenses for himself, other users or his academy. This means that each licensed user can have access to a full collection of courses within these academies. Whenever necessary, the admin can allocate a license, assign specific courses as required to users or remove the license from them.
  • Business Impact. Organizations are now able to explore how training affects different aspects of their business performance. As an administrator you can set up your Business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and evaluate the success of your training on a monthly basis.
  • Configurable notifications. You can now have to option to adjust who will receive a notification, as well as preview the message they will receive. Moreover, you can always schedule the time these notifications will be sent, or set a reminder to certain recipients.
  • Request assessments. You can now notify managers that they need to assess employees. These requests can be sent once, or periodically by creating an automatic rule. What's more, you can track the status of the requested assessments, as well as the managers who are assigned to complete them.
  • Compliance Courses. You can mark courses as Compliance Courses and then track compliance in your academy. Compliance courses can be monitored in their own dashboard, where you can also check your academy's compliance score, the number of compliant employees, the number of non-compiant employees per academy, as well as per compliance course.
  • Personalize your Academy. You can now change your Academy's look based on your personal preferences. You are given the option to adjust the menu and font color, the menu size, as well as the font hover color.


Enhancements

  • Library category permissions. As an academy admin you can control who will perform certain actions in each library category, based on your academy's organizational structure. Specifically, you can control who can read and write content based on jobs, units and above units.
  • Announcements with attachments. Now, you can upload relevant documents, and include attachments when you send announcements. This new feature allows you to speed up the announcement procedures.
