HOA Brands, the franchisor and operator of Hooters and hoots wings by Hooters, has been awarded the inaugural Schoox Learning & Development Impact Award for outstanding achievements in employee training and development. Selected from over 3,000 Schoox customers, HOA Brands was one of 12 winners recognized for delivering measurable positive outcomes through effective learning programs. The restaurant enterprise demonstrated significant improvements in manager and team member retention through enhanced training initiatives and achieved a 5% increase in manager productivity due to streamlined learning activities.
Cole Plummer-Bastian, Senior Director of Learning & Culture at HOA Brands, emphasized that their people-focused approach fostered a culture of team member engagement while driving operational excellence and a “Guest Obsessed Culture.” Schoox Co-Founder and Chief Customer Officer Costas Vasiliou praised HOA Brands’ commitment to empowering team members with training and knowledge to exceed customer expectations while building lifelong skills. The winners were honored at Schoox’s “Light Up the Night” event at The Neon Museum in Las Vegas, ahead of DevLearn 2024.
